Kerala Tour - Thekkady, about 4 km from Kumili in Idukki district, central Kerala. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. In addition to elephant rides, cruises on the lake and treks to the ruined Mangaladevi temple - a beautiful old stone temple situated in the heart of the Thekkady forest, this sanctuary offers the unique opportunity to watch and photograph wild elephants at close quarters. Tour Itinerary :
Day 1: Arr. at Cochin
Cochin Tour - Our customer care representative will receive you on arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway station and transfer and check in to hotel. Afternoon time for the sightseeing. Including: Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing net etc. Overnight at hotel - Tour to Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar
Munnar Tour - After breakfast, drive to Munnar (153 Kms and 5 Hrs drive). Check in at Hotel in Munnar. Day free for rest and personal activity. Overnight at hotel - Tour to Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
Thekkady Tour - After breakfast, start sightseeing of Munnar. Including: Rajamalai, Matuppetty, Kundala Dam. Evening free to explores the city. Overnight at Hotel - Tour to Thekkady.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady
Kumarakom Tour - After breakfast drive to Thekkady (110 Kms & 3Hrs. drive). On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening take a motorboat ride at Periyar Lake to watch the wildlife. Overnight at hotel - Tour to Kumarakom.
Day 5: Thekkady to Kumarakom
Alleppey Tour - After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (140 Kms and 5 Hrs drive). On arrival check into hotel afternoon enjoy the sightseeing of Bird Sanctuary. Rest day free, enjoy natural surrounding and overnight at hotel - Tour to Alleppey.
Day 6: Kumarakom to Alleppey
Kerala Tour - After breakfast, transfer to Alleppey to check in to houseboat (30 Kms and 1 Hrs drive) and overnight at houseboat. (Houseboat will move form 1200 Hrs Noon to 1800 Hrs Evening and Morning 0600 Hrs to1000 Hrs) - Tour to Kerala.
Day 7: Alleppey to Cochin
Cochin Tour - Check out time form Houseboat is 10:00 A.M. After check out transfer to Cochin Airport/ Railway Station for further destination (70 Kms and 2 Hrs drive) - Tour to Cochin.
